To enable HDR output from SHIELD, refer to your TV owner's manual. Both photos are with HDR mode in the windows 10 settings turned on. Most HDR TVs do not have HDR output enabled by default for HDMI. I am attaching photos of the screen showing roughly what I see when HDR mode is enabled in the settings of FS2020. Use this button to remove the game/settings association that you created when you no longer want the game to use the assigned settings. Remove button deletes the game-settings association. I am using a DP1.4 cable, connected to my RTX 2060 graphics card. You can either select from the list or click Browse so you can navigate and locate the program or folder for which you want to establish unique settings. However, when I try to open up FS2020, and I enable HDR mode in the graphics settings, everything has a grayish cast to it with very little contrast. So now the picture looks good when in windows desktop mode, and I have confirmed that it is working by watching some youtube videos that are 1440p HDR content (they look amazing).
I have managed to get around this by adjusting some settings and using the custom color preset on the monitor with some values tweaked. I struggled at first with HDR in general on this display, since it would end up with a pink color cast when I would enable HDR mode within windows. I am trying to get a reasonable output in HDR on my Dell 3220DGF monitor.
